Keum Yie "Peggy" McCoy.
Wilder, VT – Keum Yie "Peggy" McCoy, 71, died Friday January 6th at home with her loving husband of over thirty years, Robert McCoy.
Peggy was born March 19, 1940 in Korea where she lived until moving to the United States in 1963. She was married to Bob in Springfield, VT on March 4, 1972. Peggy worked at various jobs in the Upper Valley but spent most of her time, when their daughter was younger, at home caring for her.
Peggy enjoyed visiting and socializing with friends and family especially going out for dinner. She also enjoyed BINGO, gambling, shopping and some of the finer things in life, particularly flowers and jewelry.
Her family includes a daughter Susie McCoy Hall of Parker, CO; two grandchildren Hunter and Hayden Hall, many special Korean sisters including Hon Wallace of Norwich and a deceased son Barry Facto.
Calling hours will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. Friday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. A memorial service will be held at the Charles Wilder Center in Wilder on Saturday at 1PM. Burial will take place with her husband in the Vermont Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center in the Spring.
