Kenneth T. Ferreira, 72, of St. Marys, Georgia, formerly of Charlestown, MA, Salem, NH and White River Junction, VT, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

The devoted son of the late Walter Ferreira and Dorothy (Evers) Ferreira, "Kenny" grew up in Charlestown, MA and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1967. He was a pipe fitter at the Charlestown Navy Yard before he was drafted in August 1969 by the United States Army to serve in the Vietnam conflict from 1970-1971.  He was a decorated combat Veteran.

He was the beloved brother of the late Walter Ferreira, who passed away just six weeks ago, and his late wife Cheryl; Dennis; Ronnie and his wife Karen; and Bobby.

He was also the half-brother of Kristen Walsh, David Ferreira, and the late Leslie Ferreira.

He was enjoyed by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and close friends.

He lives on through his daughter Marybeth Ferreira; son Timothy, and son Kenneth, Jr. and his wife Jennifer. He was the proud "Grampy" of Lily and Owen Ferreira.

There are no calling hours. As he wished, Kenny was immediately cremated upon his death. Some of the most endearing friendships of his life were made at the Veteran's Center in White River Junction, VT during "group". The bonds of brotherhood of these combat veterans were immeasurable. Burial will take place in the Vermont Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center, VT, alongside his "buddies," just as he requested. A memorial service at the cemetery will immediately precede his burial, Thursday September 2, 2021 at 11am .

Kenny's children would like to acknowledge their dad's friend of over 30 years, Donna Greene as well as his neighbor Rob Philbrick. We will never forget their unending love and support of our father, nor their compassion for us.
