Kenneth A. Clifford

Wilder, VT – Kenneth A. Clifford, 57, died suddenly on Sunday August 16, 2015 at the Concord Hospital in Concord, NH.

He was born May 10, 1958 in Lebanon, NH a son of Donald M. and Ruth (Pitkin) Clifford. Ken grew up in White River Jct., and lived in the Town of Hartford all of his life. He graduated from Hartford High School Class of 1976 and later from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. He worked for a time at T&L Electric in White River Jct., before beginning his nearly thirty year career at Dartmouth College. He worked first in Computer Services but spent most of his career at the college in the Thayer School.

Ken was married to Mary Bellavance at St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct., VT on September 12, 1987. They have spent most of their married lives in Wilder, where they raised their family.

He was an avid New England Sports fan, especially the Patriots and Red Sox. He also enjoyed chasing hot air balloons and more recently attending French and Indian War reenactments with the Pequawket Alliance.

He was predeceased by his parents; a sister Julie Coutermarsh and two brothers Edward and Wayne Clifford.

Ken leaves his wife, Mary of Wilder; son Chad Clifford of Lewiston, ME; daughter Savannah Clifford of Wilder; brother Thomas Clifford of Quechee and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., on Thursday August 20th from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday August 21st at 1PM with burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
