Kenneth D. Aldrich Jr.
Wilder, VT – Kenneth D. Aldrich Jr., 52, passed away June 23, 2010 after a courageous two year battle with cancer, he was a fighter.
Kenny graduated from Hartford High School and worked locally in maintenance and as a painter. He was an extreme New York Giants fan and also loved the Boston Red Sox and Celtics as well as NASCAR racing especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. (not Jr.) He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and partying at "Cold Duck" his hunting camp in Rochester, VT.
His family wishes to give special thanks for the loving care and support Kenny received during his illness from Kate and Jeff, his "best friend" Monte as well as Al, Gregg, Jerry, Butch, Scott, his other friends, along with Dr. Davis, Karen and all the staff at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
He was predeceased by his father Kenneth D. Aldrich Sr. in 1998 and leaves behind his mother Margarete Aldrich of Hartford, VT; his sister Sharon Aldrich and her longtime companion Alan Loring both of Sharon, VT; his brother William "Harvey" Aldrich and his fiancé Doreen Wyatt both of Hartford; a nephew Alan Aldrich and wife Chanda and their three children, Amber, Aliza and Alan Jr. all of Bethel.
A graveside service will be held at the Hartford Cemetery in White River Jct., VT Wednesday June 30th at 2PM. Condolences may be sent to his mother at PO Box 83, Hartford, VT 05047.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 121 Connor Way, Suite 240, Williston, VT 05495-1460.
