Windsor, Vermont - Kay Lee Plaster-Lepisko passed away peacefully at her home in Windsor, VT on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.
Kay was born in 1957 to Jean and Kenneth Plaster in Newport News, Virginia but soon moved with her family to Windsor, VT. She cherished her family and her roles as daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and great aunt. She loved the outdoors, crafting, long drives with her husband to Maine, and family gatherings. She was an expert gardener and could grow anything with her green thumb. Unfortunately, she endured a lifelong struggle with addiction, but during sobriety, she found great solace with her peers at the Windsor, VT AA group. Likewise, she was thankful for the years of support from the HCRS staff in White River Jct., VT. Their kindness and support meant the world to her and supplied her with great strength. It was important to her to normalize the mental health struggles that many people face and her openness and honesty about her own journey were helpful to others.

May you finally rest in peace, sleep well.

Kay was pre-deceased by her husband, Jason Lepisko; mom, Jean Ladeu; step-dad, Donald Ladeu; brother, Kenneth Plaster; sister, Joan Cosgrove; and nephew, Shawn Nedeau.

She leaves behind her children, Danielle Lemery-Kenney (Chad Traverse) of Grafton, NH and Lucian Lemery III and his wife Katie of Windsor, VT; sisters, Mary Plaster-Roberts (Guy) of Windsor, VT and Tammi Plaster-Skaling (Pat) of Pembroke, NH; brothers, William Plaster of Bellows Falls, VT and Jeffrey Ladeu (Lynn) of Hartland, VT; nieces, Leigh Cosgrove (Ryan) of Holiday, FL, Dawn Cosgrove-Leet (Gordon) of Fabius, NY, Kelly Cosgrove (David) of Kirkville, NY, Jessica Allen of NH, Crystal Allen-Baluk (Kurt) of Sutton, NH, and Amy Plaster of Windsor, VT; nephews, Gregory Nedeau of Windsor, VT and William Plaster Jr of Windsor, VT; great-nieces, Abbygale and Teagan Cosgrove; other relatives and friends.
