Obituary

White River Jct., VT – Kay Pallmerine Clark, 78, died Saturday March 11, 2017 at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, VT.

She was born June 26, 1938 in Lebanon, NH a daughter of Henry and Evelyn (Preston) Pallmerine. Kay grew up in White River Jct. and graduated from Hartford High School Class of 1957 where she met Kenneth Clark. They started dating in high school and were married August 20, 1960, shortly after Kenneth returned home from his service in the Army. They lived in White River Jct. for a time before purchasing their home on the North Hartland Road where they raised their family and have resided since. She worked for a time before starting a family, at Webb's Advertising in Hanover, NH.

Kay was a very active, life long member of the United Methodist Church of White River Jct. She was also a talented crafter and quilter making numerous quilts for friends and family, never selling them, always giving them as gifts. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially time with her husband fishing and hunting. Kay and Ken spent summers at their camp on Lake Willoughby for eight years after Ken's retirement.

She was predeceased by a brother, Stephen Pallmerine.

Kay is survived by her husband, Ken, of fifty six years, of White River Jct.; a son, Kenneth Harold Clark and a daughter, Karen Kay Clark both of North Hartland; a sister, Ann Wallace Hamilton of Lebanon, NH and Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Robert Pallmerine of Colchester, VT and Henry "Pete" Pallmerine of Nixa, MO, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 18th at 11AM at the United Methodist Church of White River Jct. Burial will be in the Hartford Cemetery, also in White River Jct. later in the spring.
