White River Junction, VT – Katherine Jean Ducharme, 81, died on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, following several years of health challenges.

Kathy was born on February 17, 1944, in Lebanon, NH to parents Leroy W. and Ruby Louise (Bowen) Osmer and grew up in Taftsville, VT under the watchful and loving eye of her grandmother Katherine Osmer, who she was named for.

She was a beloved and constant figure in so many of her family's lives, an unbreakable thread who bound others together. She adored socializing and taking an active role in her relationships with family and friends.

For more than two decades she was the office manager for Dr. Deborah Glazer in Lebanon, NH and in recent years spent time in Florida prior to her husband's death in 2022.

She is survived by seven children Neko James and grandson Chance, Susan Miller and husband Gary, Sheila Clayton and husband Gary, Ronald Ducharme, Roy Ducharme and wife Cheryl, Lisa Soltesz, and Jack Trevett; two siblings Robin Osmer, Sr. and Jan Woodard; many grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Della Osmer, husband Burton "Babe" Ducharme, and three children Robin Stephens, Kenneth Stephens, and Joe Ducharme.
