Kaitlyn Mae Johnson, of Hartland, VT passed away on December 27, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 16 years of age. She attended Hartland Elementary School and Granite Hill, in Newport, NH for high school. She loved attending both schools. She made wonderful friends and connections from both schools and accredited her wish to become an elementary school teacher to a few teachers she had when she was younger.

Kaitlyn was a sweet and gentle person. She loved playing jokes and making people smile. Kaitlyn was a magnet to kids and babies. She just loved being around them and helping them as much as she could. If there was a baby in a room, we always knew where to find Kaitlyn. She would be holding the baby or trying to help with whatever was needed.

Kaitlyn was predeceased by her mother, Sandra Johnson, her papa, Gordon Wood, her grandfather, Gordon Johnson, and her uncle, Marc Wood.

Kaitlyn is survived by her father, Jonathan Johnson of Windsor, her sister, Jordan Johnson of Montpelier, her nephew, Carson LeFebre of Montpelier, her nana, Elaine Wood of Hartland, her grandmother, Krista Johnson of Brownsville, her aunt, Shirley Johnson of Windsor, her aunt, Lisa Mattoon and her family, of Newbury, her aunt, Emily Paquette and her family of Hartland, her uncle, Sheldon Wood and his family of Newbury, her uncle, Forrest Wood and his family of Lebanon, NH, her uncle, Chris Maheu of Ascutney, her great aunt, Vicky Maheu, of White River Jct., and her great aunt, Deena West and her family of West Windsor, along with many other cousins and extended family.

A visitation will be held from 3:00-5:30PM on Friday, January 6 ^th , 2023 at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT.
