ASCUTNEY, VT
Judith Ann Moye, 69, a resident of Ascutney and formerly of Windsor, passed away Wednesday morning, August 17, at her home in Ascutney surrounded by her family.
She was born October 8, 1941 in Hanover, NH the daughter of Floyd E. and Greta (Watson) Hewlett. She received her schooling in Windsor and attended Windsor High School. She married Kenneth Boudro on October 10, 1959 and they were later divorced. She was employed at the Windsor Diner making baked goods and later as a dietician at the Stoughton House in Windsor. She married Robert T. Moye on July 14, 1984 in Hartland. They moved to West Yarmouth, MA where she worked as a dietician at the Whitcomb Middle School in Dennis, MA. She also worked at the Bazaar Gift Shop in Yarmouth until her retirement in 2002. She and her husband returned to Ascutney in June of 2002. Mr. Moye passed away on February 23, 2003.
Judy was later employed at Dimick's Restaurant in Claremont and at the Ascutney Market in Ascutney. She was fond of painting, traveling, and listening to blue grass music. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and NASCAR. She enjoyed supporting and attending Windsor athletic events. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family at the family camp on Lake Ninevah in Mt. Holly, VT.
She was predeceased by her parents and one great granddaughter, Lillie.
Survivors include, five sons, John F. Boudro and his wife, Barbara of Reading, VT, Brian K. Boudro and his wife, Patty of Windsor, Bruce M. Boudro and his wife, Sherry of Windsor, Robert E. Boudro and his wife, Holly of Mesa, AZ and Thomas E. Boudro and his wife, Dawn of Claremont, NH, three stepsons, Brian Moye, Chris Moye and Mike Moye, one stepdaughter, Debra Wagar, ten grandchildren, Matthew, Megan, Stephanie, Breanne, Eric, Carissa, Cassandra, Tyler, Justin, and Alexa, three step grandchildren, Steffanie, Julie and Desiree, three great grandchildren, Gavin, Aaliyah and Bently. She is also survived by her longtime companion, Bill Bushor of Windsor and her former husband, Kenneth Boudro of Lebanon, NH.
Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor on Friday evening, August 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 20 at 1:00 PM at the Rachel S. Harlow United Methodist Church in Windsor with Barbara Loyer, officiating. Committal services will follow in the Taftsville Cemetery in Taftsville.
