Lebanon, NH – Joyce B. Peoples, 80, died Friday, January 14, 2022, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

She was born December 23, 1941, in Lowell, MA and grew up in North Hartland, VT, a daughter of John and Glenna Wilson. Joyce graduated from Hartford High School class of 1960 and worked for a time as an operator at New England Telephone. She later worked in the office at Oxygen Welding in White River Jct. until starting a family. She was married to Bill Peoples and they raised their family together in North Hartland before he died at an early age in 1981. After her children were older, she worked at K-Mart in West Lebanon for many years until retiring. Joyce has lived in Lebanon for the past twenty years.

She was a former member of the Lebanon Methodist Church where she was active in their knitting club and a current member of the White River Junction United Methodist Church. Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed watching programs on the Food Network.

She was predeceased by a son, Steve Peoples, in 1982. She leaves two sons, David Wilson of Windsor, and Michael Peoples of Lebanon.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2PM in the Hartland Village Cemetery. Knight Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
