White River Junction, VT- Joseph D. Monfette, 64, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at his home. Joseph was born September 9, 1953 in Hanover, NH a son of Harvey and Evelina (Daphinais)Monfette. He grew up in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon, High School class of 1971. He worked as a cook at Landers Restaurant for many years, he later worked for the Valley News, the Wilder Post Office, Price Chopper, Norwich Inn and most recently at Crossroads Café. Joseph enjoyed coin and model car collecting, watching NASCAR, the Red Sox and Patriots.
He is predeceased by his mother. Joseph is survived by his father Harvey of Lebanon, two brothers Dennis Monfette of Lebanon, Charles Monfette and his wife Michelle of Canaan, NH; three sisters Yvonne Adams and husband Richard, Claire Monfette all of Lebanon, and Anne Donatelli and husband Gerald of Claremont, NH. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction assisted with arrangements.
