John L. Minelli

White River Jct., VT – John L. Minelli, Sr., 84, died Tuesday February 11, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born November, 22, 1929 in Arlington, MA. John served in the U.S. Air Force from 1949 until his honorable discharge in 1953. He attended The Bentley School of Accounting and Finance in Boston and later worked in office equipment sales at the Spaulding Company, retiring as sales manager.

John was a lifelong, avid golfer and was a member of several golf clubs throughout his life. Since moving to Vermont he (happily) worked as a ranger and starter at the Quechee golf courses. The friendship of members and fellow employees meant the world to John.

He is survived by his wife, Lois, of White River Jct.; sons, John Minelli, his wife Teri and granddaughter Kelli of Hanover, NH; and David Minelli and his wife Denise and granddaughter Marena of Long Island, NY

A private service will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. at the convenience of the family.
