White River Junction, VT — Jody Lee Reynolds, 56, died Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Jody was born October 23, 1969, in Lebanon, NH, a daughter of Harold Trombley and Shirley Melendy. She grew up in White River Junction and graduated from Hartford High School in 1988.
Jody began her career with A.B. Gile, Inc. in Hanover, NH. She later joined Kinney Pike Insurance, Inc. in White River Junction, where she worked for twenty-six years. In 2013, she accepted a position with State Farm in White River Junction, where she continued working until her death.
In 2015, Jody met Donald Reynolds, and they were married in a small backyard ceremony in 2016.
Known for her strong work ethic, Jody always held a second job as a bartender or waitress. She worked at the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Filling Station in White River Junction, as well as The Fort in Lebanon, NH.
Jody enjoyed camping and was an avid reader. She cherished time spent with family and friends and was a thoughtful and diligent host at gatherings and celebrations. She served as President of the VFW Auxiliary and was deeply committed to supporting veterans and veterans' events.
Jody was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Parry.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Reynolds of White River Junction; two daughters, Lyndsey Freeman Stulz of South Royalton, VT and Nicole Freeman of White River Junction; two grandchildren, Tala Lee Freeman and Vernon Waylon Stulz; her father, Harold Trombley (Mary Mayette) of Leesburg, FL; her mother, Shirley Parry of Perkinsville, VT; and six siblings, Shayne Trombley of White River Junction, Sonia Trombley of Claremont, NH, Fran Short of Westminster, VT, Missy Cutting of Perkinsville, VT, Rebecca Pero Potwin of South Royalton, VT, and Mark Pero of White River Junction.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 26, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT. A celebration of Jody's life will be held at noon on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Elks Lodge in Lebanon, NH.
