IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joanna Ebley
Maria Wallace
December 12, 1982 – December 12, 2024
Lebanon, NH — Joanna Ebley Maria Wallace, age 42, passed away on December 12, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on December 12, 1982, in Costa Rica, and was adopted by Stephen Pope and V. Lee MacLachlan. Joanna was homeschooled in Rochester, NH, and later attended River Valley Community College, where she earned an Associate Degree in medical assistance. She dedicated many years of her life to working at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center before transitioning to a position at Little T's daycare and later as a paraprofessional at Ottauquechee Elementary School. Unfortunately, due to declining health, she was unable to continue working and spent her remaining time at home with her family.
Joanna had a passion for cross-stitching, making photo collages, and needle crafts. Above all, her greatest joy was her children, who were the center of her world. Joanna was a loving and devoted mother whose children, Logan Barrell, Morgan and Caleb Wallace, were the light of her life. She found her greatest fulfillment in caring for them, guiding them, and creating a warm and nurturing home.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Wallace of West Hartford, Vermont, and her two beloved children, Logan Barrell of Enfield, New Hampshire and Caleb Wallace of West Hartford, VT. Joanna is also mourned by her parents, Stephen Pope of Hancock, NH, and V. Lee MacLachlan of Rochester, NH. She is further survived by her siblings, Nathan Pope, Deborah Grophear, Jared Pope, Faith Hernandez, Rachel Porelle, Andrew Pope, Christina Pope, Rebecca Jantzi, and eleven nieces and nephews.
A visiting hour will be held 1pm, Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Valley Bible Church in White River Junction, VT. Followed by a memorial service at 2pm at the church. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to Joanna's family in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com.
