Hartland, VT- Joan M. Hebert, 89, died Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Mt. Ascutney Healthcare in Windsor.

Joan was born June 30, 1934, in Cambridge, MA, a daughter of Clarence and Marjorie (McFarland) Hebert. She grew up in Cambridge and attended the local schools graduating in 1952. Joan lived in Arlington, MA and worked her whole career at Polaroid in Waltham, MA, retiring in (year). She moved to Raymond, ME to be closer to her son and later moved to Hartland, VT in 2014 to be with her daughter.

Joan loved knitting and watching movies, especially old ones. She also enjoyed playing cribbage with her peers at the Bugbee Senior Center in White River Junction. But her greatest joy came from giving her time to others.

Joan is preceded in death by two brothers William and Arthur Hebert. She is survived by two daughters Kim Smith of Hartland and Ruth Dunn of Arlington, MA; a son Christopher Mulvihill of Raymond, ME; five grandchildren Bronwyn, Meghan, Joe, Brigid, and Clara; and two great-grandchildren Emerson and Leah.

A celebration of Joan's life will be held at a later date.
