White River Jct., VT – Jessie M. Miles, 88, died at her daughter's home in Lebanon on Monday evening January 14, 2019.

She was born July 11, 1930 in White River Jct., VT a daughter of Fred and Eva (Rule) Mace.  Jessie grew up in White River Jct. and graduated from Hartford High School.  She was married to the love of her life, Vernon Miles, February 21, 1957 in White River Junction where they made their home until his death in 2016.

Jessie was a member of the White River Junction United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed bowling and going to the VFW to dance and listen to the Yvonne and the Reverbs with her husband. They enjoyed many winters at their home in Kissimmee, FL and spending time with family and friends especially camping.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Vern, son Chris Miles, two sisters, Audrey Hadlock and Francis Mosher and brothers Fred, Gordon, Chet, Arnold and Nathan Mace.

Jessie is survived by a son Lloyd Miles of White River Junction, a daughter Jodie Jones and her husband Rex of Lebanon, NH two grandchildren Alyssa MacDonald, Casey MacDonald and their father Elmer MacDonald; great grandson Kai America Robinson; sisters Charlotte Durkee of Thetford and Joyce Davis of McIndoe Falls, VT; brother Forest Mace of Lebanon, NH as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the Hartford Cemetery at a later date.
