Jeremiah Cushman, 85, Died Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Hanover Terrace Healthcare in Hanover, NH.

He was born September 16, 1927 in Bradford, VT the son George and Eva (Colby) Cushman.

Jeremiah grew up in Bradford and Tunbridge where he attended the local schools. He worked for many years at Tiptop Bakery, Adams McNickols and Noel Vincent Trucking, later purchased by Northeast Waste all in White River Junction. He was the custodian at Mount Support School in Lebanon, NH and as a caretaker at the Canaan Cemetery in Canaan, NH. He was married to Rhea Dickerson January 24, 1958.

Jeremiah was a passionate wrestling fan who rarely missed a match. He also enjoyed being in nature watching the animals or taking long rides on back roads throughout the northeast.

He was predeceased by his wife Rhea in 1996; a sister Betty Goodell; and a brother Frank Cushman.

He is survived by three sons: Timothy Cushman of Forest City, NC, Michael Cushman of White River Junction, VT, Bobby Cushman of Hartford, VT,; four daughters: Patti Rullo of Lebanon, Debbie Cushman of Portland, ME, Kimberly Sandoval of Denver, CO, Sherri Schmidt of Orford, NH; a brother George Cushman of Chelsea, VT; four sisters: Bertha Crump of FL, Elsie Slack of MA, Myrtle Spaulding of Claremont, NH and Eva Rose Vincent of White River Junction; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There will be no services per Jeremiah's request. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction assisted with arrangements.
