WINDSOR, VT
Jene S. Dodge, 96, a lifelong resident of Windsor, passed away Saturday, February 11, at the Cedar Hill Continuing Healthcare Center in Windsor.
She was born July 2, 1915 in Windsor the daughter of Anthony and Anna Shaban. She received her schooling in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1932. She married Eldon "Red" Dodge in Windsor on September 11, 1937. They owned and operated Dodge's Esso Service Station and Fuel Oil business in Windsor for many years. Mr. Dodge passed away on January 8, 1967.
She was also predeceased by seven siblings.
Survivors include one brother, Bernard Shaban of Windsor, two nephews, Christopher Shaban of Claremont, NH and Mitchell Shaban of Clairmonte, FL, and one niece, Stephanie Hubert of Newport, NH.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 16 at 11:00 AM in the Mountain View Cemetery in Claremont, with the Reverend Raphael Nyabenda, Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor, officiating.
The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor is entrusted with the arrangements.
