Hartford, VT – Jeffrey Thomas Adams, 59, died Thursday morning, January 22, 2015.

He was born November 3, 1955 in Hanover, NH the son of Ephraim and Pauline (Withington) Adams. He grew up in Hartford and graduated from Hartford High School class of 1973. He married Margaret Ann Culver October 26, 1974. They moved to Burlington, VT where Jeff attended the University of Vermont. He graduated in 1977 with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Technology. They moved to South Barre, VT where he taught at Spaulding High School. Later, Jeff worked for New Jersey Tool Company. For a time, they lived in Wilder, VT before they built their home on Old River Road in Hartford, VT in 1980. Jeff worked at North Hartland Tool since 1980.

He was very handy and enjoyed working on small engines. He worked on lawn mowers and other small engines at his home. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, and the outdoors. He found pleasure in a good ride on his Harley Davidson or his snowmobile. Most of all Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren and pets.

He is survived by his wife, son, James T. Adams and wife of Plainfield, NH, his daughter, Jennifer L. Adams and husband of Florence, MA, 2 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, his parents, his mother-in-law Margaret "Vi" Culver of Fairlee, VT, as well as many cousins and friends.

Visiting hours will be held Monday evening, January 26, from 6-8PM at the Knight Funeral home in White River Jct., VT. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11AM at the funeral home. The burial will be held at a later date.
