White River Jct., VT – Jeanette M. Zapp, 89, formerly of Brick, NJ died Sunday October 27, 2013 at Brookside Nursing Home in White River Jct., VT.
She was born May 5, 1924 in Newark, NJ a daughter of Michael and Concetta (Liguori) DeFeo.
Married Robert Forshee 1950, divorced 1959 and then married Edward Zapp 1963. She moved to Brick in 1965, and helped to start the family business, BCSI, in 1970. She lived independently on Lake Shore Dr. in Brick after the death of Edward Zapp in 1988 until October 2012 and thereafter resided at the Brookside Nursing Home in White River Junction Vermont.
She is survived by her son Robert Forshee Jr. and his wife Sharon of Grafton, NH; granddaughters Darlene, Danielle, Marianne and Gabrielle; a brother Michael DeFeo Jr. of Manchester, NJ and a sister Josephine Styles of Melbourne, FL as well as several nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation will be held at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. on Thursday October 31st from 10-10:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's Church at 11AM. Burial will be Tuesday, November 5th at 10AM in Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
