WEST WINDSOR, VT
Jeanette R. Flinn, 84, a longtime resident of West Windsor passed away Monday afternoon, March 13 at the Springfield Health and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, with her son, Timothy and daughter, Patricia by her side.
She was born August 29, 1932 in Meriden, NH the daughter of Frank and Blanche (Nelson) Sullivan. She received her schooling in Meriden. Mrs. Flinn was a proud and devoted mother and enjoyed raising her children. She was employed at the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Windsor for a brief time, and later as a matron at the Cedar Manor Nursing Home. She then was employed at Garrison Stove Works in Claremont and as a security guard for Brock Security. She was also employed as a matron at the Davis Home in Windsor and most recently at the Ascutney Mountain Resort doing housekeeping and general maintenance, until her retirement.
She was predeceased by her parents, one infant son, William and two daughters, Linda and Kathleen, and by three brothers, Ralph Sullivan, Arthur Sullivan and William Sullivan, and one sister, Mildred Sullivan.
Survivors include her seven children, Timothy Flinn of Windsor, Patricia Blaise of Ascutney, Steven Flinn and his partner, Lorraine Hobbs of Brownsville, Michael Flinn of Brownsville, Maurice Flinn and his partner, Peggy Mower of Enfield, NH, Robert Flinn and his wife Barbara of Ascutney and Audrey Flinn of Arlington, VA, two brothers, Theodore Sullivan of Lyme, NH and Raymond Sullivan of Windsor, eight grandchildren, Lisa, Michelle, Hannah, Jeff, Tim, Matt, Mark and Eric, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
At Mrs. Flinn's request there will be no public services. Her family wishes to acknowledge and thank, Sherry Barbour, the staff at Ascutney House and the staff at Springfield Health and Rehabilitation Center for the exceptional care given to Jeanette over the past four years.
