Obituary
Jean-Marie (Willis) Alden, 82 of Middleboro died on Wednesday, February 4 2015 following a period of declining health.
She was born May 11, 1932 in Middleboro, daughter of the late Stewart E and Lillian R (Kennedy) Willis. She attended local schools and later graduated from the Taunton Vocational Nursing Program. She devoted more than 40 years to nursing in Geriatrics.
She loved the ocean and collecting sea treasures with her recently departed husband. She was devoted to religious studies and loved to teach Sunday school. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Middleboro. She enjoyed sewing and crafting with her daughters.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald F Alden and grandsons Timothy F Ducasse and Steven Dean Tubman. She is survived by her children Penny-Lee (Tubman) Zartman and husband Terry, Kenneth L Tubman III and wife Diane, Katherine L (Tubman) Ducasse and husband Richard, Steven J Tubman, Cyndi Tubman Woodman and husband Paul, Kevin S Tubman, Priscilla (Alden) Pooler and husband John, Donald F Alden and wife Barbie, 25 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 3 great, great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
