JANE ELIZABETH STEVENS JOHNSON

PITTSFIELD VT- July 11,1932 - November 5, 2017 Jane Johnson died surrounded by her loving
family, at the age of 85. She lived a full life that began on the Maine coastline and ended as a beloved matriarch in the mountains of Vermont.

She had a life long career in nursing. After their children had grown, they left Brunswick to restore an 1803 Vermont farmhouse and ran Stonewood Inn. This special house was the setting for lasting family memories and hosting old and new friends.

She loved to knit, crochet, cross-stitch, read, create rock walls and patios, bake apple pies and sticky buns and care for her pets and family.

She leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Arnold Otis Johnson, her four children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. Daughter Kirsten Gagnon and her husband Troy live in
Orrington and their daughter Kelsey Franklin and her husband Taylor reside in Virginia. Her daughter Kimberly Nichols and her husband Brad of Bath and their two children: Kieran Nichols of Freeport and Sarah Lakeman, who lives in Cumberland with her husband Theodore and their
two sons Ford and Malcolm. Her son Christopher Johnson of Pittsfield, VT and his daughters Raichle and Brinley. Her daughter Leisl Johnson of Raymond and her partner Derek Niles. And
her dog Lucky and cat Edward at her home in Vermont. Her beloved brown dog Bronte passed in late October.

She was beautiful inside and out and we will miss her forever. We love you more!
