White River Jct., VT – Jane Overman Delue, 78, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, October 13, 2022, at  Lebanon Center Genesis Eldercare in Lebanon, NH.   She was born March 30, 1944, in Windsor, VT the daughter of Wilbur and Marjorie (Clark) Overman.

Jane grew up in Cornish, NH and graduated from Windsor, VT high school in 1962. On January 22, 1972, she married Elmer "Tex" J. Delue at the Plainfield Community Church, as a longtime member, she was active in the bell and vocal choirs.  Jane had a long and prosperous career at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH where she worked as an Administrative Assistant for many years. After her retirement, she and Tex had a wonderful time traveling the US in their converted camper truck, even driving it up the west coast highway to Alaska.

She is survived by her son, Robert W. Peterson and wife Nancy of White River Jct., VT; a brother, Mark Overman and wife Tina of Plainfield, NH; one grandson, Justin Peterson of White River Jct.; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held Friday, November 11, 2022, at 2:30 pm at Plainfield Community Church, Plainfield, NH.  She will be buried in a private service at Chase Cemetery in Cornish.
