Windsor, VT – Mrs. Jane Chapman died on Thursday, February 14, 2023, in Windsor and was born on May 4, 1926, in Newton, MA to Donald and Berth (Whitney) Cornish. She married Ernest M. Chapman on October 4, 1947, in the Old South Church in Boston, MA and they were married for thirty-five years until his death on December 7, 1982.

Jane was a member of the Brethren Assembly and Precision Valley Baptist Church for many years, and she greatly appreciated the Meals on Wheels program.

Survivors include two sons, John W. Chapman of Athens, ME and Daniel E. Chapman of North Springfield, VT; one daughter, Wendy C. Scully of Colchester, VT; and two grandsons, Michael and Brian.

Jane requested that only a private committal service be held in the family lot at Newton Cemetery in Massachusetts.
