White River Junction, VT – James M. West, born February 20, 1935, in Marlboro, MA died Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at his home in White River Junction, VT after a year of declining health.  He was a long-time optician in White River Junction and resident of the Upper Valley.  He was an avid golfer, reader, and enjoyed collecting and watching movies as well as visiting various playhouses in New England.

He is survived by two daughters Kathleen Pratt and Michelle Buckman and husband Michael of Windsor, a son Michael West of West Lebanon, NH, six grandchildren, and a great grandson.
