Norwich, VT- James C. Town, 47, died unexpectedly, Thursday, January 21, 2021, at home.
J.C. was born December 21, 1973, in Keene, NH a son of Charles and Sandra (Gibson) Town.
He graduated from Hanover High School class of 1991. He was an avid athlete through-out high school and later life. J.C. started working at the Hanover Co-op at age 15 as a bagger, working his way up to dairy manager before leaving in 1999 when he started his carpentry business. Where he has been working since.
J.C. enjoyed racing dirt cars, four-wheelers, hunting, and fishing. Anything that would get him outdoors. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Bruins fan. His love for Chevy runs deep with a constant need to find new roads.
J.C. is predeceased by his father, Charles L. Town. He is survived by two daughters Rebecca Town of White River Junction and Alexus Town of Norwich; a grandson Charlie Duprey; a son-in-law Josh Duprey; two sons, Peter Fennelly, Norwich and Christopher Wells of Florida; his mother Sandra M. Town of Hanover, NH; a sister Tammy Severance of West Lebanon; four brothers, Stephen Town of Laurel, MS, Charles Town of Lakeland, FL, Darren Town of Valrico, FL and William Town of Hanover, NH; as well as many nieces, nephews, and so many friends.
A Celebration of J.C.'s life will be held at a later date. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.com.
