James F. Roussel, 76, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 22, 2015.
He was born August 20, 1938 in Boston, MA a son of Robert and Ellen (Morris) Roussel. He grew up in the Greater Boston Area. He worked in the local shoe factories and at the King Size candy factory. He later moved to Burlington, VT where he worked at Fletcher Allen Hospital and later at the area schools as a custodian until his retirement in 2000. In 2004 he moved to the Upper Valley to be more central to his children.
James enjoyed volunteering at the Bugbee Senior Center, But what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family making sure every thing was okay, especially his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his son Kenneth Roussel.
James is survived by a daughter Bobbijo Roussel of Wilder, VT; four sons, James Roussel of Kinston, MA, Micheal Roussel of Bethel, VT, Joseph Roussel Burlington, VT and Adam Roussel of Enfield, NH; thirteen grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two brothers, Bobby Roussel of New York and Charlie Roussel of North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held at a later date
