White River Jct., VT – James David Dubuque, 82, died early Friday morning, May 5, 2017 at the Lebanon Center Genesis Eldercare in Lebanon, NH. He was born February 4, 1935 in Lebanon, NH the son of Elbert Joseph and Vera (Cameron) Dubuque. He grew up in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School. Jim worked for nearly forty years at Dartmouth Printing Company in Hanover, NH. On June 8, 1985 he married Jeannette Cyr and they made their home in Wilder, VT.

Jim enjoyed talking with people, camping and watching TV. He was an active member of the Hartford Elks Lodge and the Son's of American Legion of White River Jct., VT. He and Jeannette were faithful members of St. Anthony's Church and the Good Sam Club.

He was predeceased by his wife Jeannette who died Dec. 3, 2015 and a step son, Jim Higley who died February 22, 2017

He is survived by three sons, Mike Dubuque of Lyme, NH, Tim Dubuque and his wife Heidi of Stratham NH, Terri Dubuque of Lyme, NH, two step daughters, Linda Stickney and her husband Morris of Woodstock, VT, and Shelia Hathorn and her husband Brian of White River Jct., VT, step daughter-in-law, Doris Higley of Petersburg, Virginia, three grandchildren, Bruce, Bindy and Jamie also a great grandchild, Parker, a brother, Elbert "Tony" Dubuque Jr. and his wife Marge of Florida as well as nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday May 17, from 6-8PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., VT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 18, at 10AM at St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct., VT with Rev. Father Charles Danielson. A committal service for both Jim and his wife, Jeannette will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in White River Jct., VT . A luncheon reception will be held at the church hall immediately following the cemetery services, hosted by the Knights of Columbus.
