Obituary

WHITE RIVER JCT., VT
James Francis Boudro, Sr., 74, a resident of White River Jct. and formerly of Windsor, passed away Sunday evening, February 24 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon surrounded by his family.
He was born November 11, 1938 in Fairfield, VT the son of John and Loretta (Elwood) Boudro. He received his schooling in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1956. He married Mary Gray in Windsor on September 1, 1962. They resided in Windsor until moving to White River Jct. in 1989. He was a former member of the Vermont National Guard serving in the 86th Brigade. He was employed as a supervisor at the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for several years until the plant closed in 1987. He most recently was employed at Timken Aerospace in Lebanon until his retirement in January of 2001.
Mr. Boudro was a life and fifty two year member of the Windsor Elks Lodge #1665. He was also a social member of the Windsor American Legion Post #25.
Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf and softball. He loved doing yard work, traveling and going to the casino. He especially enjoyed attending his grandson's sporting events.
He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Betty Parsch and Lorraine Carney, and by one niece, Nicole Ryan.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Mary G. Boudro of White River Jct., three sons, James F. "Jamie" Boudro, Jr. of Windsor, David R. Boudro of Windsor, and Steven J. Boudro and his companion, Angela Redman of White River, Jct., one daughter, Debra L. Boudro of Windsor, three grandsons, Devin, Jesse and Tyson Boudro, two sisters, Ramona Noel of Ascutney and Gail Dow of Windsor, two brothers, Kenneth E. Boudro of Mesa, AZ and Windsor, VT and Darrell J. Boudro of Windsor, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor on Thursday evening, February 28, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. There will be an Elks service at 7:30 PM. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 1 at 11:00 AM at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor with the Rev. Raphael Nyabenda, Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor, officiating.
A reception for family and friends will follow at the Windsor Elks Lodge.
