Hartford, VT- Jamie Lee Mead, 27, died unexpectedly of natural causes, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

She was born September 4, 1985 in Anniston, AL, the daughter of David L. and Donna L. (Ehmann) Hoisington. She attended the Poultney, VT Schools and later moved to Belmont, VT for a time before spending a short period in Burlington, VT. Jaime made her way to Hartford in 2009 where she found her community and met her fiancé Sean K. Runnals. They had a beautiful baby Ransom Runnals together and were expecting their second Preston David Runnals.

Jaime loved being a mother and caring for her family. She enjoyed cooking and especially baking, she had a new found hobby of sugaring as of this season. But what she enjoyed most was being with her friends, and playing with her son.

She is survived by her son Ransom Runnals, fiancé Sean Runnals, biological parents David and Donna Hoisington; a sister Heather Mead; two brothers Jeremy D. Hoisington and Corey Hoisington; adopted parents Kitridge and Benita Mead and their family; and many close friends.

Memorial gatherings will be held and Thursday, April 11, 5:30PM at the Upper Valley Turning Point Club in White River Junction, VT and Sunday, April 14, at 3PM at the Odd Fellows Hall in Belmont, VT. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT is assisting with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to David Hoisington, list in memo line for the benefit of Ransom Runnals, 789 Gates Road, Belmont, VT 05730, to establish a college fund for Ransom.
