IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacob John
Kilton
December 12, 1993 – June 28, 2025
Canaan, NH- Jacob John Kilton, 31, of Canaan, NH, died unexpectedly on June 28, 2025, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Born in Hanover, NH, on December 12, 1993, Jacob was the beloved son of Shannon Wyman and was raised in Canaan by his devoted grandparents, John Roger Kilton, Jr., and the late Patricia (Balluff) Kilton.
Jake had a remarkable gift for understanding how things worked. From a young age, he could be found taking apart alarm clocks, televisions, and anything else he could get his hands on—always putting them back together, often better than before. His mechanical talent was evident early, and at just 12 years old, he began working at Norm's Garage in Canaan, where his natural ability and work ethic quickly stood out.
He attended Runnemede Private School and graduated with high honors from Mascoma Valley Regional High School. While there, he also studied automotive repair at Hartford Area Career and Technology Center. His dedication and skill earned him a scholarship to the Universal Technical Institute in Pennsylvania, where he further honed his craft. Jake completed his training with Toyota in White River Junction and went on to build a career fixing anything he could. Jake had a sharp mind, strong hands, and a kind heart. He was deeply loyal to those he loved. He will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor, and his ability to fix nearly anything.
In addition to his gifts as a mechanic, Jake was also a very talented drummer- wild, creative, and untamed. He Bowed to absolutely No One. Music was one of the many ways he expressed himself, especially through loud, heavy metal. His rhythm and creativity left a lasting impression on those who heard him play. Jake was looking forward to the future with great hope and love. He had plans to propose to his girlfriend, Dayna Cadiero, with whom he shared a deep love and meaningful relationship. He also carried with him the quiet grief of having been predeceased by a child lost to miscarriage—an emotional loss that affected him deeply.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Patricia Kilton, and his infant child he never got to meet. He is survived by his mother, Shannon Wyman, his sister, Lindsay Wyman, step-father, Michael Wyman, his soon-to-be fiancée, Dayna Cadiero; and his grandfather, John Roger Kilton, Jr., his aunt, Glenna Kilton; and step-grandparents, Chester and Deborah Wyman.
