White River Jct., VT – Irene Alice Kennett, 92 passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 31, 2013 at Lebanon Center Genesis Eldercare. She was born January 11, 1921 in Peacham, Vermont the Daughter of Alice and Ernest Monroe. Irene was a hard worker, living most of her adult life just off Route 14 in the old schoolhouse. When good health allowed, she had a large garden and sold berries and vegetables by the roadside.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Dean Kennett and her daughter Gloria Jean Kennett, her granddaughter, Kristen Deutsch and grandson Ivan Deutsch as well as her nephew Gary Stark and his wife Elaine.

She was predeceased by all her siblings.

There will be no services at her request.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Genesis for their loving care of Irene.
