South Royalton, VT – Hubert K. Benoit, 81, died Saturday September 25, 2021, at Lebanon Center Genesis Eldercare in Lebanon, NH.

He was born March 26, 1940, in New London, CT a son of Raymond Hull and Greta (Kinmouth) Benoit.  Hubert spent his youth in Mystic, CT where he attended school and worked at his family's sporting goods store.  During his free time in Mystic, he enjoyed racing speed boats.

His family purchased a farm on Dairy Hill in South Royalton in the 1950's and Hubert continued to operate the farm until retiring.  He loved working the land and used draft horses for years.  In addition to dairy cows Hubert also raised pigs for many years.

He is survived by daughters, Brenda Blakeman of Woodstock, VT and Betty Pushee of Lyme, NH; a son, Brian Benoit of Lebanon, NH; a brother, Raymond"Bill" Hull Benoit of Wisconsin; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life at a later date and memorial contributions to the Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society are appreciated.
