Wilder, VT - Henry Tardie, 93, died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at home in Wilder, VT.
He was born March 13, 1924 in Hartford, VT a son of Napoleon and Lizzie Belle (Nott) Tardie. Henry graduated from Hartford High School and was later married to Mary Trembley September 19, 1955. He worked on the family farm for a time before starting at the Wayne Feed Store in West Lebanon. He was very handy and could fix about anything so after leaving the feed store he began his career as a machinist, working at Cone Automatic in Windsor and then at New Jersey Machine Tool in Lebanon for over twenty years before retiring in 1994.
Henry enjoyed watching television game shows but most of all loved spending time with he family, especially Sunday dinners.
He was predeceasd by his wife in 1992 and a brother Rodney Tardie in 2014
He is survived by his son Clyde Tardie and daughter in law Sandy Berube of Wilder; grandchildren Michael, Brook and Forest Tardie and Sky Severance; great grandchildren Aalyah, Bryce, Kadyn and Matthew Tardie, Tanner and Devin Severance, and Summer Clark.
Interment will be in the West Lebanon Cemetery in West Lebanon at the convenience of the family
