Boscawen, NH- Helen M. Osgood, 94, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH.

Helen was born May 5, 1923 in North Pomfret, VT a daughter of Leon and Hazel (Reed) Gray. She grew up in North Pomfret and attended Pomfret Schoold. She was married to John "Jack" Wallace Wilson Osgood, they made their home in Cornish for many years. She worked for Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in the Birthing Center as a Nurses Aide. After Jack's death in 1968, she lived in Lebanon, NH and later Manchester, NH before moving to Franklin where she lived for many years.

Helen was an avid knitter with an astounding knack for it, she also enjoyed playing Rummy with her family.

She is predeceased by a brother Leon Gray Jr., three sisters Hazel Gray, Mildred Gray and Marjorie Pulling; and her companion of 30 years Bob Carr.

Helen is survived by two sons, Daryl Osgood and his wife Joyce of Enfield, NH, Brian Osgood; a daughter Wanda Avery both of St Petersburg, FL; two grandchildren Heather Sullivan and Amy Allen; and three great grandchildren, Nyssa Barrett, Hannah Sullivan and Connor Sullivan.

Helen's family would like to offer their greatest appreciation for all the staff at the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House for all their assistance in this time of need.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Union Cemetery in Claremont, NH. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements.
