Charlestown, NH - Hazel M. Beliveau, 97, passed away Friday April 7, 2023 at her home, surrounded by family.

Hazel was born March 4, 1926, in Hanover, NH, a daughter of Harold Asa and Edith (Hanchett) Fellows. She grew up in Hanover where she graduated from Hanover High School Class of 1944. After attending UNH, Hazel worked as a florist at Porter Floral on Main Street in Hanover. She married Ernest "Joe" L. Beliveau November 17, 1946, in Lebanon and they lived in Hanover for a time before moving to West Lebanon, where they raised their family. After their children were out of school, Hazel went to work at Mary Hitchcock Memorial, in the Microbiology Lab. In the early 1980's the couple moved to Orem, UT to be closer to their daughter. While in Utah, Hazel worked at Provo Floral, as a talented and distinguished floral designer.

Hazel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed working with flowers, quilting, sewing, knitting, trips to the ocean where she walked the beach, and watching "her" Boston Celtics. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Hazel is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, "Joe", two brothers, Robert and Fred Fellows and a baby sister, Lois Fellows.

She is survived by a son, Peter Beliveau, and his wife Debra of Enfield, NH; a daughter Linda Beliveau of Charlestown, NH; grandchildren, Stephanie Hill and husband Ron, Aimee Brown and husband Jeff, their children Evan and Abby, Michael Pratt and his wife Julie, their daughter Peyton, Trevor Pratt, Kristian Pratt, Brandon Pratt and his fiancée Rachel; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in the Hanover Center Cemetery. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences to Hazel's family may be expressed in an online guestbook at www.knightfuneralhomes.co m.
