WINDSOR, VT
Guy Ciccarelli, 91, a resident of Windsor, died peacefully Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. Guy was born July 8th, 1924 in Somerville, MA, the son of Frank and Lena (DiDomizio) Ciccarelli. He is formerly from Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, Franklin Lakes, NJ and St. Petersburg, FL.

He served his country during WWII in the Navy on the U.S.S. Kennebec before building a successful career in the seafood business and restaurant industry. Guy enjoyed his retirement years fishing with his twin brother in Florida and spending his summers in Windsor, VT before moving to VT permanently in 2013.
Guy enjoyed telling stories of his robust life to his entire family. He had a passion for cooking, nature, fishing, animals and most of all sharing those passions with those dear to him.
Guy was predeceased by his parents, identical twin brother Vincent and his wife Rose, brothers in law Peter Toronto and Victor Biegel. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Mildred (Toronto) Ciccarelli, daughter Gaynell of Windsor, VT, grandchildren Justin of Windsor, VT and Alyssa of Butler, NJ, great-grandchildren Guy and Isebella. He is also survived by his brothers Raymond Ciccarelli and wife Rosalie and Frank Ciccarelli and wife Joan, half sister Rose Mary Buffalo and husband Philip, sister in law Patricia Aldighieri and husband Rudy, sisters in law Grace Biegel and Carolann Toronto. He also leaves many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly, and spoke about often.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, September 13th from 3:00 to 5:30 PM at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 14th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The Rev. George Majka, Pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Claremont will officiate. Committal services with military honors will follow in the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Windsor.
Guy's family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, 1 East, and to Dr. Kenneth Dolkart for their compassion and dedicated care, and to Lyane Murnaghan, his physical therapist who kept him going during this past year.
