West Lebanon, NH- Gregory G. Owsianik, 67, died Monday, November 4, 2019 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH following a brief illness.

Greg was born July 9, 1952 in Hartford, CT a son of Edward and Arlene (Luce) Owsianik. He graduated from Lebanon High School class of 1971. He worked several jobs before going to work at the Valley News working in the press rooms in 1983. Greg retired in 2003 but continued to work part time at the paper. even though Greg thought of himself as a loner, he had a magnetic personality and friends coming out of the woodwork. He was an avid sports fan, and loved the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruin, and the NY Giants. He loved animals especially the family dogs Sheba and Brandi.

Greg is survived by a daughter Holly Owsianik and her partner Don Vogt of Mountain Lakes, NH, and a son Matt Rikert and four grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction, VT at 1pm.
