WINDSOR, VT
Gloria J. Valliere, 84, a resident of Windsor, passed away Sunday evening, January 3, at The Willows of Windsor in Windsor.
She was born November 11, 1925 in Proctorsville VT the daughter of Fred and Isadora Stocker. She received her schooling in Proctorsville. She married Raymond Ayers in Proctorsville in 1947, he passed away in 1972. She married Edward Valliere in 1974 in Windsor.
Mrs. Valliere did housekeeping for several Windsor area families for many years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor, and the Windsor American Legion Post #25 Auxiliary. She enjoyed flower gardening and animals.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Joanne Fedelski, and by three brothers, Arthur Stocker, Richard Stocker and Frank Stocker, and by her five sisters, Myrtle, Freida, Marge, Sylvia and Rena.
Survivors include her husband, Edward R. Valliere of Windsor, two sons, Ronald Ayers of Grafton, VT and Randy Ayers of Cornish, NH, a grandson Michael David Ayers of Cornish, NH, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, January 9 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Windsor. The Rev. Rene Butler, M.S., Pastor, will be the celebrant. Committal services will be held in the spring in the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Windsor.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Willows of Windsor, at 121 State Street, Windsor, VT 05089.
