Gloria Jean Nalette, 75, died Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH surrounded by her family.

She was born August 4, 1949, a daughter of Wilfred and Marion (Cone) Nalette. Gloria graduated from Hartford High School Class of 1967 before receiving her LPN from Mary Hitchcock School of Nursing in Hanover. She began her nursing career working with her family at Hillside Manor Nursing Home in Hartford and later continued her nursing career at several places including Rutland Hospital, United Developmental Services in Lyme and most recently at Habit OPCO in West Lebanon, NH. Gloria loved helping people and was a devoted caregiver wherever she worked. Her outgoing personality also led her to a successful side career with AVON.

She had a love for music and dancing from an early age. She especially enjoyed live music and had an opportunity to see The Beatles when they performed in Boston. More recently, she enjoyed line dancing. No matter what the occasion was she liked getting dressed up and going out but also enjoyed roughing it a bit on camping trips. She particularly loved being with family and was very close with her extended family and dear friends

Gloria was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Ernie, Colleen, Lauri, and Leonard.

She is survived by her children, Joseph "Skip" Nalette (Stephanie) of Wilder, VT, Amy Labate (Rob) of Rutland Town, VT, Jill Tootell (Chris) of Somersworth, NH and Gregg Nalette of Quechee, VT; grandchildren, Taylor, Dawson and Carter Nalette, Kate, Julia and Trevor Labate, Devin and Rylie Nalette and Crosby Tootell; a brother, Peter Nalette (Nancy) of Wilder as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. VT Friday, February 28th from 5-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Saturday, March 1st at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in White River Jct., VT.
