White River Junction, VT - Gerd "Garrie" Lang, 79, died Monday, February 5, 2018 at Hanover Terrace in Hanover, New Hampshire with her daughter by her side.

Garrie was born December 18, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of Gøtom & Borkil Ostrem. She graduated from Bay Ridge High School and later settled in Long Island she worked as a sales manager for Alfred Angelo Italian Bridal. She was married to Gene Lange, they lived in Boca Rotan, FL, he died in 1988, She moved to White River Junction and went to work at the Mobil Station on Sykes Moutian Avenue in White River Junction. She later went to work for Grey Hound as a ticket agent in White River Junction until retiring.

Garrie loved to laugh and tell jokes, she had a special place in her heart for the wild birds and was extremely gifted with animals. She was an experienced cook and loved to read.

She is survived by a daughter Kim R. Rosa of Wilder, VT; a son Ty Robert Crichton of Florida; a grand son Erick Almestica and his daughter Castilina.

There will be no services, Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction assisted with arrangements.
