Wilder, VT- Gerald "Jerry" James Relihan, born May 27, 1947 in Hanover, NH at Mary-Hitchcock, died May 3, 2020 in Lebanon, NH at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative Care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.

Jerry graduated from Hartford High School in 1965. As a young person, he loved to go fishing and hunting with his father and was an avid skier. He also owned a motorcycle and a snowmobile he used to enjoy the great outdoors. Until his final years, Jerry always had a cat or a dog and enjoyed donating to the Upper Valley Humane Society.

Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Jeremiah and Wanda (Rogenski) Relihan. He is survived by his sister, Judy Pierce and her husband, Robert of East Lyme, CT; his beloved nephews: Shawn Pierce and his wife, Julie of Niantic, CT. and Scott Pierce of Charlotte, NC, and great nieces and nephews, Shannon, Kaci, Reagan of Niantic and Madison and Ryan of Charlotte. Jerry is also predeceased by Scott's wife Michelle and daughter, Emily.

Funeral services will be private. Jerry's family would like to thank his neighbors, Wendy, Jim & Jeff for all the visits, food and rides to the hospital. They watched over him, and it was a blessing to have them.
