George L. Rumrill
Hartland, VT – George L. Rumrill, 80, died Friday March 26th at home in Hartland.
He was born February 24, 1930 in Brooklyn, CT a son of George and Annette (Berube) Rumrill. He grew up in Worcester, MA where he attended school before beginning work with the Frito-Lay Company. He was married to Patricia Stevens in February of 1969. They lived in Northboro, MA until his retirement from Frito Lay in 1982 when they moved to Hartland, VT.
For the twenty years after his retirement they enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Mexico in their RV. He also enjoyed playing cards, working around home and in his yard but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a sister Vivian Cheever and a brother Edward Rumrill.
He is survived by his wife Patricia of Hartland, four daughters Sharon Rumrill of North Carolina, Cynthia Rumrill of Millbury, MA, Linda Sardillis of Fitchburg, MA and Deborah Brock of St. Petersburg, FL; three sons Kenneth Keith of Hartland, VT, Edward Keith of Westford, MA and Michael Keith of Douglas, MA as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held April 24th at 5 Pm at the Dancers Corner, 42 Pine Street, White River Jct., VT 05001 call 296-2526 for directions.
