Windsor, VT – Gary H. Pudvah, 71, died Tuesday evening, November 17, 2020 at the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation Facility in St. Johnsbury, VT. He was born March 8, 1949 in Berlin, NH the son of Harold J. and Evelyn L. ( Olson ) Pudvah.
He attended schools in Windsor, Vermont including Windsor High School. Gary then enlisted in the US Marines and served in Vietnam. When he returned to home he went to work as a machinist at Cone Blanchard Machine Company where he worked until 1978. Gary was involved in a serious car accident that left him permanently disabled. He has resided in St. Johnsbury for the past thirty years.
Before his accident he loved to hunt, fish and spend as much time as possible in the outdoors.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #25 in Windsor, VT the VFW of Lebanon, NH and the BPOE #1665 Elks Lodge in Windsor, VT.
He is survived by his daughter Katherine Pudvah of Wilmington, VT, three granddaughters, two great grandchildren, a sister, Sharon L. Davis of Charlestown, SC, two brothers Richard Olson of Ascutney, VT and Lee Pudvah of Ascutney, VT as well as nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in the springtime in the Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor, VT.
