Gary R. Merrill, Sr., 55, of Windsor passed on, after a brief battle with liver cirrohsis, on Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born in Claremont, NH on March 2, 1967, the son of Judith Fuller and Duane Merrill.  Gary spent his entire life on the Brook Road in Windsor and obtained his GED from Windsor High School, walking with his graduating class in 1997. He married Lazzel Sargent on August 24, 1991 and they had two children, Gary, Jr. and Ashley Lynn Debra - the loving forces and brightness in his life, along with his grandchildren, Tristen Merrill and Lazzel Lynn Debra Merrill.

Gary enjoyed staying busy, always the entrepreneur, spending time with his family and friends; cousin, Jim Morse and driving his Chevelle and many Mustangs.

He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents, Hiram and Ruth Merrill, Mercelene and Kenneth Scribner, grandfather, George Fuller, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his children, Ashley Lynn Debra Stoodley and Gary R. Merrill, Jr; grandchildren Lazzel Lynn Debra Merrill and Tristen James Merrill; brother, Scott Merrill and wife, Dustin; nieces Alexianna Jade and Marrisa Irene Debra Merrill, all of Windsor; sister, Debra Carter and husband Nick, nephews Joshua and Taylor Carter of Hartland, VT; many cousins, and his ex-wife and life-long friend, Lazzel Plaster.
