IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gary J.
Marsh, Jr.
April 8, 1963 – June 11, 2021
Weathersfield, Vermont - Gary J. Marsh, Jr., 58, died at his home in Weathersfield on Friday, June 11, 2021. Gary was born on April 8, 1963, to Gary Sr. and Josephine Mae (Lamica) Marsh in Claremont, New Hampshire. Gary was a fun-loving dad who loved his family dearly. He was tremendously supportive and proud of all four of his girls and they all have special memories of time spent with him to cherish. Long summer days were enjoyed in the cool of the water hole that his family now has shared for four generations. A true Vermonter, he cherished antiquing and even had his own YouTube channel as the Green Mountain Picker! He was a talented karaoke singer, excellent cook, enjoyed taking care of his Ford Falcon, and a fervent Donald Trump supporter. He enjoyed watching the scenes of the world and landscape through the windows of the cab of his truck as he cruised the highway and he traveled the world through the History and National Geographic channels. Gary was kind and generous, sometimes to fault, and he will be missed.
He is survived by his wife Lisa M. Marsh (Hall) of Weathersfield; four children, Sara Pettit and husband Luke of Gloversville, NY and Kansas "his Goof Ball", Sammy Joe, and Victoria "Buggy" Marsh of Weathersfield; one sister, Donna Hryckiewicz and husband Henry of Milton, VT; two grandchildren, Brianna Adams and Chase Pettit of Gloversville; two nephews, Thomas and Patrick Hryckiewicz; a niece and nephew from his wife's side, Aaron Lambert of Rhode Island and Nichole Laporte of Springfield, VT, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Timothy Marsh.
A Celebration of Gary's life will be held at 2 pm at Knight Funeral Home, Windsor, VT on Saturday, July 10, 2021. A private committal service will be held at Ascutney Cemetery. Memorial donations are appreciated to the Springfield, VT Fire Department and the Perkinsville Food Shelter.
