WINDSOR, VT
Gary A. Bogue, 76, a resident of Windsor, passed away on Memorial Day, May 29 at the Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor following a sudden illness.
He was born December 18, 1940 in Burlington, VT the son of Maurice E. and Orlina (Jewett) Bogue. The Bogue family was large and was once known as the tallest family in the world.
Gary had a passion for flowers, gardening and loved to talk to others. He was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1959 until his honorable discharged in 1963. He hated violence and loved people. At his request there will be no public services and he will be laid to rest in the Jeffersonville Village Cemetery next to his parents in Jeffersonville, VT.
He will be missed by many.
"There is no grave that can hold my body down, therefore if you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all prejudice against my fellow man. Give my sins to the Devil; give my soul to God. If, by chance you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do all this, I will live forever."
The Knight Funeral Home in Windsor assisted with the arrangements.
