Gary E. Adams

Gary Edward Adams, 66, died Thursday September 10, 2026, at home in White River Jct.

He was born March 16, 1960, in Hanover, NH, one of twelve children, Raymond and Beverly (Ladeau) Adams. Gary spent his early years on his grandparents’ farm in Norwich, VT and later throughout the area while in foster care. He was married to Evelyn Dow on November 28, 1987. They have lived in the Upper Valley all of their lives except for a few years in the late 1990’s when they moved to Tennessee and then briefly to Florida. Gary worked in many different area restaurant kitchens over the years until he was no longer able to work due to his illness.

He enjoyed fishing all of his life and in later years liked watching westerns on TV and working on word puzzles.

He leaves his wife, Evelyn, of White River Jct.; stepchildren Donna Finney of Claremont, NH and William Wilkinson of Newport, NH; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as his brothers and sisters.
