Obituary

White River Junction, Vermont- Frederick C. Facto, 62, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at his home in White River Junction after a stoic battle with cancer.

Frederick was born April 6, 1948 in Randolph, VT the son of William and Doris (Wagner) Facto. He graduated from Hanover High School and attended the University System of New Hampshire. He served in the Army completing a tour of duty in Vietnam. He worked last at the Coolidge Hotel in White River Junction before retiring.

Frederick was a man of philosophy who followed his beliefs. Though he was a private person he had a few good friends that were close to his heart. He enjoyed collecting coins, gambling, barbeques and couponing. His basic guiding life principles: 1. Trust in the balance; 2. None of us are what we were, only what we are now; 3. You can't change the world but you can change the world around you; 4. It takes little to make someone's day better, just the will to; 5. Death should not be feared. Nothing disappears from the universe, it only changes form; 6. If you are at peace with yourself you are at peace with others. The less stress you have, the less stress you cause in others. Be aware of the effect of your behavior on others especially those closest to you.

Frederick is predeceased by his father and mother Doris Facto-Stetson.

Frederick is survived by a daughter, Jessica Burns of Windsor, VT, a grand-daughter Destiny Burns of Windsor, VT, a brother William Facto Jr. of Lebanon, NH; five sisters Margaret Paini of Braintree, VT, Sandra Woodward of Enfield, NH, Doris LaMontagne of North Thetford, VT, Cheryl Marcotte of Canaan, NH, Shirley Church of Charlestown, NH and several nieces and nephews.
